1940s Pink Green Check Wool

This absolutely beautiful old wool we are sure is not just made from sheep. There are tiny straight white 'hairs' though the weave and it might be angora. The fabric is soft and snuggly warm, very cozy. The colours are pinkish red/magenta with pale brown and dark green. It's very fine being only a little heavier than Viyella and would suit being made into clothing - dress or skirt. It's for sale by the large fat quarter yard.
