1950s Gray Shot French Rayon
Beautiful gray and creamy white striped fabric with shot flecks through the weave - the black threads run along the warp the white run across and down. This fabric had a small tag attached that read 'French Manufacturer' and in one corner the initials GD are maked with drill holes. It comes from about the 1950s, early, and has a plain weave, nice weight and drape. Lovely fabric for clothing. One of these pieces has a pin head sized hole in the centre.
