1950s Green Oriental Phoenix Satin Fabric

This beautiful vintage satin fabric is light dress weight. It's a lovely pale mint green colour which is quite rare. The design is in darker green and features medallions and a Phoenix - (a unique bird that lived for five or six centuries in the Arabian desert, after this time burning itself on a funeral pyre and rising from the ashes with renewed youth to live through another cycle.). The fabric has a faint fold mark down the centre in parts. Still it's a gorgeous piece and it's for sale by the half a yard/metre.
