1960s Gold Metallic Threads Lame Fabric

This beautiful vintage evening wear fabric is from about the 1960s. It has a satin like face with a swirly leaf design woven in gold (lurex) tinsel giving the effect of embroidery. The fabric is a cotton blend of medium weight with a nice firm handle. The gold metallic threads shimmer and shine catching the light especially in the evening. It's a stunning piece perfect for making purses and bags as well as clothing. These are remnant pieces.
