Check & Knot 1940s Blue Fabric

This fabric dates from about the 1940s and it's a lightweight cotton check, yarn dyed and with a stitched thread detail. The stitched thread is knotted at intervals giving one side a bobbly texture. However, you could use either side of this fabric as the colours are the same on both sides - it's yard dyed - which means the design is woven in not printed on top. The colours are lovely and summery, pink, red, lime green, white and blue in the fabric with white, navy blue and orange thread stitched.
