Early Synthetic Knit Fabric 1950s 200cm

This unusual fabric is a light stretchy knit made from a synthetic material. The fabric is similar in appearance to Lycra, it has a fine knit similar to that used in lingerie. It is stretchy across the width. It appears to be from the 1950s or earlier and is printed in stripes of magenta, sage green, mint green on cream and with black outlines. The darkest stripe appears to be made up of the green printed over the magenta, it's a mottled colour and it's not clear if that is intentional. This fabric is unique, would suit a dress, skirt or collecting. There is one length available, sorry no free shipping on this item.
