Stunning Vintage French Fruit/Flowers Fabric
This divine vintage fabric is dress or light curtain weight and ithough it's hard to date we are going to guess at the 1940s. The fabric is cool to the touch, looks like cotton and has a slub weave. It's a creamy shade, almost yellow with the most stunning bright print of medium scale flowers and large fruits in greens, blues and red all with black details. It's one of the most wonderful fabrics we've seen in a while. Selvedge notes read: MADE IN FRANCE & SA NSF ROISS (?). This is printed 4 times on the length and unusually it's on both selvedges. We are selling this fabric by the half yard/half metre.
