Thai Teteron Silk 1960s Vintage Fabric

This vintage silk fabric has selvege notes that read 'Teteron Silk Handprinted Made In Thailand' and it's a fabric that looks somewhat like cotton, a bit like silk and a bit like a synthetic. It has a crisp handle, is hard to crease and a burn test revealed it is mostly silk. The design is fabulous, with swirly flowers in shades of blue and feathery leaves in dark lime green. The background is pale blue and this fabric is for sale by the half yard/metre.
